A fine morning at Valley Forge. Much better conditions than the American Continental Army experienced in the winter of 1777-78 when sickness, starvation, nakedness, and bitter cold afflicted Washinton’s winter camp. Over 2,500 of the 12,000 men died of sickness in thid place.
