Makes sense but… What are the chances the feds will listen to these people?

Last night, Condon, MT resident and firefighter Jimmy Boyd explained a
community based proposal for forest management that he hopes the federal government will incorporate into the new forest plan for the Swan Valley. With wildfire prevention and emergency access routes being top priorities, a packed house of supportive locals offered a robust round of applause. I asked the audience for a show of hands of how many would like to have more Wilderness designations. 4 people raised their hands. What do you think the feds will do? HINT: After hearing all the community input desiring that wildfire prevention options be left in tact, and that new wilderness
designations are not expanded toward the community, federal plan supervisor said, “We have to be realistic.”
