Montana governor favors federal control of Montana – vetoes public land task force bill…25652

The task force would have conducted an objective, bi-partisan economic feasibility study, yet Bullock rejected the legislature’s desire for an honest investigation of potential benefits of federal land being transferred to the state. Instead of working across the aisle with representatives of the impacted areas of Montana to solve the federal land crisis, Bullock has chosen an extreme left political path, parroting talking points crafted by high paid neo-environmentalists, opting to leave the fate of Montana in the hands of a dysfunctional WA DC bureaucracy, and deliberately ignoring the benefits that would come from Montanans managing the resources in Montana correctly.
